Cocoplanners spend Christmas with CRIBS
Cocoplanners through the Employee Activities Committee 2007 (EAC) spent Christmas with the abandoned babies and abused young ladies of CRIBS (Create Responsive Infants By Sharing) Foundation as part of Cocoplans’s Outreach Program at the Major Dizon Street, Marikina City, November 10.
It has been an “Umagang Kay Ganda” as Cocoplanners commenced the day with a simple caregiving where every employee was given the opportunity to hold, carry and play around with the babies of the foundation. Bonding moment with the abused young ladies followed as time for babies elapsed.
EAC prepared a short program for the Christmas party where dance and song numbers were presented. On-the-spot dance challenge showcased CRIBS’ talent as EAC opened their doors for the abused young ladies’ participation. A number of games and surprises were done and prizes were given away to the winners.
EAC was surprised as CRIBS young ladies performed a dance number for them. The committee members, together with other Cocoplanners who participated in the Outreach Program received ‘Thank You’ cards as token of appreciation and gratitude from the abused ladies.
“It was a very wonderful and unforgettable event for all the Cocoplanners who participated. Through your help and generous donations, may it be big or small, made a resounding success and another fruitful year. And as Cocoplans continue to soar and help those who are in need, we continue to touch the lives of other and be touched and inspired as well”, EAC said.
Cocoplanners handed their Christmas gifts to the abandoned babies and abused young ladies of CRIBS foundation before the end of the Christmas Party.
