SEC grants Cocoplans permission to sell 250M
COCOPLANS, a two-time awardee for Most Outstanding Pre-Need Company in the 2004 Consumer's Union of the Philippines Awards and the 2005 Parangal ng Bayan Foundation, Inc. Awards, was recently granted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) the Certificate of Permit to Sell P250 million worth of securities.
After a thorough evaluation of the company's registration statement and its documents, SEC gave Cocoplans the authority to sell P200,000,000.00 worth of Pension Plans and P50,000,000.00 worth of Fixed Value Education Plans.
"Cocoplans remains a strong and vibrant organization committed to the realization AND COMPLETION of the promises we made and continue to make in the products that we sell," Cocoplans President Caesar Michelena said.
"In spite of the difficulties inherent in any business endeavor existing in the present environment, our management and Board of Directors would like to reassure our planholders and sales associates that Cocoplans will NOT renege on its promised benefits," Michelena added.
