Cocoplans holds 12th APEX Awards


Cocoplans, the pre-need company of the UCPB Group and two-time awardee for Most Outstanding Pre-Need Plans Provider held its 12th Annual Performance Excellence (APEX) Awards last March 23, 2006 at the Manila Peninsula Hotel. During the 12th APEX Awards, the company’s 2005 top sellers were recognized and awarded. Josan B. Lim from the Binondo Business Center was awarded Business Partner of the Year while Emma D. Alcantara from the Davao Business Center was declared Mega Producer of the Year. The Top BDM Personal Seller was Virginia S. Davis from Cebu Business Center while Ernesto K. Pinas from the Baguio Business Center was Top SBDM Personal Seller. For the Corporate Selling Division, Pilita S. Renacido from the Kalibo Business Center earned the Top BP Corporate Seller. Rounding up the awardees is the Top Business Center of the Year award which went to Lipa Business Center of the Southern Tagalog 3 Region and received by Myrna L. Lalucis. “The APEX Awards is part of our continuing goal to recognize our highly deserving people. These people are the ones who personify and actualize our company’s promise of giving our public outstanding service. These people are the hands that reach out to our plan holders and ensure that their investments are well-taken cared of,” said Caesar T. Michelena, Cocoplans President. Further, in line with Cocoplans assurance of giving matured benefits on the day of maturity, the company declared, in a recent report, the amount of the Maturity Benefits issued for the year 2004 and 2005. The company released P16,330,000 for Pension and P395,000 for Education in 2004 while P36,220,000 for Pension and P325,000 for Education were released in 2005.
