COCOPLANS bags 4th ANCA Award

Cocoplans, Inc. spearheaded by President Caesar T. Michelena, received its 4th consecutive award as the ‘Most Outstanding Pre-need Plans Provider’ on the recently concluded 18th Annual National Consumers Award (ANCA) held at the Casa Marinero, Intramuros, Manila. Cocoplans, an affiliate of the United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) was once again recognized by the Consumers Union of the Philippines (CUP) as an awardee for the service category. Two other UCPB affiliates, the United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Company (Cocolife) and UCPB General Insurance Co. Inc. (UCPB Gen) bagged the Outstanding Life Insurance Company Award and Outstanding Non-life Insurance Company Award, respectively. In the ceremony, CUP through the ANCA reiterated that “everyone is a consumer” and thus, motivating every manufacturer, producer, wholesaler/retailer, businessman and professional trader to give a pair return of the consumer’s hard earned peso by producing quality goods and services and giving the right quantity and quality at the reasonable price should be done.
